Method
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish or line it with foil.
- Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Cook the chicken in a skillet over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let it rest for a few minutes, then shred it with two forks.
- In a bowl, toss the shredded chicken with the buffalo wing sauce and melted butter until evenly coated.
- Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
- Spread the ranch or blue cheese dressing over the bottom buns, then top with the buffalo chicken mixture and shredded cheese.
- Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.
- Cover loosely with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for 5 to 7 minutes more, until the cheese is melted and the tops are lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with parsley if desired, and cut into individual sliders. Serve warm.
Notes
For extra heat, use a spicier buffalo sauce or add a few dashes of hot sauce. You can also substitute cheddar cheese for the mozzarella or Monterey Jack. Leftovers reheat well in the oven at 325°F until warmed through.
